Over several days, CB3 conducted a highly sucessful training and mentoring session with senior staff from UNHCR across the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region, conducted in the wonderful city of Beirut. Whilst media training was a component, significant time was spent examining narratives and messages.

Two three-day training sessions, one in Nairobi and one in Mogadishu, were conducted by CB3 for senior staff and military personnel of the African Union Mission to Somalia (AMISOM), as required by the UN Support Operation to AMISOM (UNSOA). These sessions were successfully completed, despite extremely challenging circumstances on the ground - proving what is quickly becoming CB3's motto: 'If it can't be done, we'll do it!'

CB3 conducted two highly successful training sessions for UNICEF in Kabul, for senior personnel and field officers, preparing them for media engagements and also advising on wider communication aspects, from message construction through to social media impact, as well as crisis management.

Over a period of a month, CB3 conducted intensive training courses in public affairs, from basic to advanced, for the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates. Subsequently, detailed training of selected military spokespersons was successfully completed.

Several Effective Communications Courses, designed by CB3, were delivered throughout different faculties at the University of Cambridge. Each course covers a wide spectrum of topics, from conflict resolution and negotiation through to basic psychology and new media.

CB3 conducted extensive crisis management training for the United Arab Emirates Government's Higher Security Council, National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority and Critical National Infrastructure Authority. Dealing in the fields of public health, security, law enforcement, maritime safety and cyber operations, the three week training programme culminated in advanced crisis communications for government spokespersons.

CB3 led an instructional programme for UNICEF Afghanistan. Conducted in Kabul, training in communications management, media relations and interview techniques was delivered to the UNICEF Senior Representative and several key UNICEF staff from around the country.
CB3 conducted several week long courses in media and communications for the police force of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The courses, largely focussed on media spokesperson training, included issue and crisis management and wider aspects of public affairs.

Under contract to the University of Cambridge, CB3 has developed and delivered an intensive four day course in effective communications, as part of their post-graduate skills development programme. The broad spectrum of topics included basic psychology and body language through to e-communications and digital media.

CB3 recently assisted UN Office of Project Services (UNOPS) in providing media and communications training to the media unit of the Iraqi Ministry of Human Rights (MoHR). CB3 conducted a five day training package covering public relations, internal communications, press releases, publics analysis, messaging and media relations.
